The Good Samaritan Centre, near Pozoblanco, Spain is a drug rehabilitation centre, established to help people who are dealing with addictions. The intention of the programme at the Centre is to prevent the abuse of drugs, to give advice and help to those dependent on drugs, to allow residents time to take part in therapeutic social activities and to facilitate their eventual reintegration in the society. The Centre relies on help from many professionals, including a psychologist, a GP, social workers, agricultural workers, occupational therapists, administrative supervisors and volunteers, all of whom form the team that allows the centre to run effectively. |
